From 1 November 2025, the Aged Care Act 2024 commence the new era of accountability and quality expectations for aged care providers.
Providers delivering services under Categories 1, 2, or 3 won’t be formally audited against the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards—you are still accountable under the Act. Are you ready?
Introducing Our Free Workshop Series
Designed specifically for providers delivering services in categories 1, 2 or 3 this three-part online workshop series will help you build strong, proportionate quality systems that support daily operations and prepare you for interactions with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC)—especially following complaints or feedback.
What you will learn:
- Your obligations under the Aged Care Act 2024
- How to prepare for scrutiny from the ACQSC
- Embedding foundational quality practices into daily operations
- Developing sustainable internal assurance systems

This training is ideal for:

Navigating Financial Hardship - A practical session for Aged Care Professionals

From 1 November 2025, the new Support at Home program will introduce means-tested participant contributions—shifting how everyday support services are funded. These reforms aim to improve fairness and sustainability across the aged care system, however there are likely to be instances where some older people report an inability to pay.
About the session
This interactive online session focuses on the financial hardship supplement, a crucial mechanism to support participants who genuinely cannot pay. Led by a qualified social worker and a financial adviser with specialist knowledge of Services Australia and aged care processes, this session will equip you with the tools to understand the financial hardship process and respond confidently and compassionately to older people.
